Welcome to a private Edirne tour through the rich history and culture of this charming Turkish city.
Our tour begins in Istanbul where we pick you up from your hotel and begin your journey in the comfort of a private vehicle. After 2 hours driving , our first stop is the Selimiye Mosque, a magnificent Ottoman mosque known for its stunning architecture and intricate tiling. Built by the famous Ottoman architect Sinan, the mosque is considered one of his masterpieces of Islamic architecture and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next, visit to Üç Şerefeli Mosque, another beautiful Ottoman mosque known for its impressive minaret and fine example of Ottoman architecture. Afterwards, walking to the Old Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Edirne. This mosque is a great place to learn about the history of Islamic architecture and admire the beauty of the mosque's intricate tiling and calligraphy.
Next, moving to the Edirne Grand Bazaar, a bustling market where you can find a variety of traditional Turkish souvenirs and gifts.
After a short break, continue your tour with a visit to the Beyazit II Complex where you can see the ruins of the palace and hospital of the Ottoman Sultan Beyazit II. The complex is an important historical site and offers a glimpse into Ottoman life and culture.
